The instruction how to make Portuguese Sopas
- Place pot roast, onion, mint, garlic, cinnamon, allspice, and bay leaves in a large pot. Season taking into consideration salt and pepper. Pour in ample plenty water to cover the roast. Cook more than medium heat until roast is tender, adding more water if needed, nearly 4 hours.
- stir up opinion cabbage wedges into the pot. Simmer until cabbage is tender, virtually 30 minutes.
